Laminate
A type of artificial composite obtained by combining two materials, either of which has different mechanical and technological qualities. One material (usually in the form of thin fibres or threads) plays construction role and the other is an adhesive-filler, which joins together construction fibres and protects them from outside factors. It is used to cover the surface of a wood-base board. It is not plastic, it cannot be changed into various shapes in high temperate. As a result, it can only be used to cover smooth surfaces. As an artificial material it is easy to keep in good condition, durable and guarantees repetition of pattern and colour, which are not affected by UV rays.
