WFM kitchen set assembly instructions

Door disasembly

 

 

Press the fixation at the end of the hinge and move the hinge from the guide, holding down the front, securing it against damage


Drawer disasembly

 

 

 

Shift the locking component to the outside of the drawer and pull out the drawer

 


Securing shelves
Safeguard used for shelf transportation may be used for securing shelves against accidental pulling out. Safeguards must be installed over the rear supports or left as installed for transport, preventing accidental pulling out and giving a safe shelf

Securing the rear wall
Safeguards used for the rear wall are intended for improving cabinet stability for transport and storage, and influence durability of high and lower cabinets, transferring high loads during use. Installed rear wall safeguards may cause insignificant increase of cabinet dimensions. In case it makes it difficult to assembly the furniture set, safeguards may be removed before assembly using the screwdriver. Removing rear wall safeguards does not influence the furniture durability.

Levelling corner cabinet 

If the kitchen is L or U shaped, assembly must be started with the corner cabinet. Cabinet must be levelled using level and a spanner for foot adjustment


Foot must be mounted on the seat and adjusted to proper height. Foot adjustment spanner is available in the WFM offer


Positioning and combining cabinets

Each cabinet may be levelled by pressing on to the adjacent cabinet with a hand screw and combined using included screw joint.

Combining corner cabinets 
Each cabinet is placed near the corner cabinet, levelled and combined with corner blind using included screws.

Corner blind frame is fixed to the adjacent cabinet with screws

Front end blind must be trimmed and fastened to the cabinet with the included angle plates (4 pcs.)

Panel is fixed to one cabinet frame using screws and angle plates and to the other cabinet using screw with panel as in case of the end panel

Hanging bordering panel assembly

 

Vertical and horizontal panel must be fixed to the cabinet using included screws. It is possible to fix panels to the wall using rawlplugs for assembly of wall shelves, available in the WFM offer.

Vertical and horizontal panel must be fixed to the cabinets using included screws


Countertop assembly

Countertops are combined using screw joint and 10 mm spanner Before fixing, edges must be secured with wood adhesive, available in the WFM offer


Cutting out holes

Board edges must be secured with silicon or gap filling adhesive
Holes for heating panel or the drainboard sink must be made with fret saw using the included template

Covering boards, if required, may be combined using three board fasteners. Board joints and holes for assembly of e.g. drainboard sink or heating panel must be secured against water using silicone or gap filling adhesive. 

 


Fixing lower profile to the countertop
Trim, make preliminary holes for screws, fix lower profile using screws.

 


Fixing upper profile and corners
Press the upper profile and corners.


Finishing skirting
Fix internal and external corners to the countertop with screws. Fix lower profile with screws and press the upper profile. Secure corners against water with silicone. Remove protective film. Press corners and finishing components.

Preliminary skirting assembly

 

Slide the skirting fixing component into the guide in the foot and press.Move the skirting away from the foot with fixing component taped using two-sided adhesive tape.

Press the fixing component with skirting to the feet (clicking sound)

Slat must be levelled and fixed to the wall using rawlplugs. Drilling in the wall. Prepare holes for the slat, approx. 60mm below the upper edge of the high cabinet. Rawlplugs are included in the set (8 pcs. for a 2m slat). If there are high cabinets in the set for household devices, slat must be fastened in a way to provide the upper part of the hanging cabinet frames is at the same height as high cabinet.

Levelled cabinets are fastened to each other using included screw joints (4 pcs.)

 


Hanging the end cabinet

 

If there is an end cabinet in the set, it is hanged on the separate mountings and hooks

 

End cabinet is fastened to the adjacent cabinet with screws in the places that are not visible from the outside (e.g. under the shelf).Screws included.

Assembly of the drawer on the guides

 

Drawer guides must be slid into the front. Put the drawer on the guides and slide the drawer. Catch will be automatically snapped.

There is only one spring for cabinets up to 600mm long. Spring is adjusted for each cabinet irrespective of front's weight and width.

Tighten the screw with a screwdriver to clench the washer a little. Do not use electric driver.Screw and the washer are included in the set.

Do not use handles with narrow base or uneven base. It can cause the glass to crack

Lighting installation

 



Removing the film from the full gloss PVC coated fronts 

Protective film must be removed carefully without any sharp tools from the full gloss fronts after the assembly. Wait 24 hours for the first cleaning of full gloss external surfaces.

 


Trimming capping boards
Trim the capping boards at proper angle (board must be trimmed at the right angle to the surface of the board adjoining to the cabinet frame).

Assembly of the capping board

Trimmed capping boards are fastened to the cabinet using included screws

Before tightening screws, trimmed edges must be coated with hot-melt adhesive in order to glue the boards
