History
When Wolsztyńska Fabryka Mebli was established in 1945, its task was to provide schools, which were being rebuilt after war, with furniture. In the late 1940s the company began to manufacture kitchen furniture. The WFM soon became the first-choice brand for Poles when it came to kitchen furniture and our products became longed-for objects.
With the beginning of the 1990s we started to offer our Customers furniture to individual order. We continue to introduce revolutionary changes to the manufacturing process and logistics and extend the sales network. In the mid-1990s the WFM was privatised and became the property of the Poggenpohl Group. We actively invest in design and our Customers face an ever growing choice of furniture in our showrooms. Every year we launch 4 to 6 new furniture programmes and at the same time withdraw about 2 of the old ones. High quality of our products is ensured by compliance with the ISO 9002 norm, which was confirmed by a special certificate. We are recognised: in 2000 Piano programme received the most prestigious award in the furniture industry in Poland - the Gold Medal of Poznań International Fair - the Fair of Furniture and Furnishing - Meble 2000.
In 2003 Wolsztyńska Fabryka Mebli became the property of Szynaka-Meble sp. z o.o., which is owned by Mr Jan Szynaka. The Wolsztyn Kitchens have become even more easily available, since the sales network has been extended by showrooms of the Szynaka brand.
